Mandarin Translator (Project-Based Position)

Newton Education Center is seeking a highly skilled Mandarin Translator for an exciting project-based opportunity. As a key member of our administrative team, you'll facilitate the smooth operation of our programs by translating documents, conducting interviews, and assisting with the localization of materials. This is a full-time, project-based position that offers a competitive salary of Rp 9,000,000 - Rp 13,000,000 per month. 📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Translate a wide range of documents, including lesson plans, administrative documents, and student materials, ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
• Conduct interviews with students and staff, providing real-time translation and cultural guidance.
• Assist with the localization of educational materials, ensuring they are culturally relevant and linguistically accurate.
• Work closely with educators and administrators to facilitate the smooth operation of our programs.
• Adapt to different contexts and understand the nuances of both Mandarin and Indonesian.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in translation and localization.
• Support the development and implementation of our educational programs.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mandarin Translator.
• Strong command of both Mandarin and Indonesian, both written and spoken.
• Experience in translating educational materials and conducting interviews.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using translation software such as Trados, memoQ, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with educational settings and a passion for supporting student learning.
